Welcome to my review of Grace, the red alien from Dolls Castle.
I purchased this doll in December 2025 because I have a stronger interest in fantasy dolls than realistic human-like designs. After approximately six months of ownership, I have enough experience to provide a meaningful review.
As my first doll, it introduced me to the hobby. Since then, I have acquired a second doll and had experience with 6 others at Berlin's Cybrothel. Which gives me a better basis for comparison and a broader perspective on its overall quality.
This review will cover every aspect of the doll, including its packaging, materials, craftsmanship across each body part, articulation, poseability, internal channels, user experience during intimate use, how well the doll delivers on its intended fantasy, dressing, photography, maintenance and long-term durability.
Packaging
The package arrived without noticeable damage, apart from the minor wear and slightly dented corners expected during transit.
It was sealed with tape wrapped around it and covering almost its entire surface. In addition, every edge and corner had multiple layers of extra tape.
The package had no indication of its content, and there was no reference to Dolls Castle on it. From the outside, it just looked like an ordinary shipping box with a few handling markings for the carrier.
Inside the box, the doll was wrapped in a white blanket and surrounded by six polystyrene foam panels to absorb vibrations during shipping. The same material was used for inserts, which were placed around the head and between the legs to keep the doll completely immobilized.
All accessories were inside a small bag placed between her ankles, which included everything mentioned on the website: a pair of white gloves, a cleaning kit, a thin black lingerie, a USB heater for the internal channels and a comb. In addition and as mentioned in the product description, the black lingerie differs from the one shown in the promotional photos and is actually a negligee. However, while all accessories were functional, their overall quality was fairly basic and they should be viewed as complementary items rather than premium accessories.
Also, I was surprised to find a blonde wig, as this model has tentacles that are molded directly into the head. Nevertheless, the wig fits well on my second doll.Finally, the doll was in perfect physical condition after unboxing.
Materials
This model features a TPE body and head.
From the first touch, the skin feels soft and pleasant, prioritizing comfort over realism. The TPE yields easily and deeply under localized pressure. The abdominal area allows my index finger to sink in up to the middle knuckle without any significant resistance. At the same time, it is dense enough to maintain support and prevent my whole hand from compressing it by more than a few millimeters. As a result, the texture creates a comfortable experience during full-body cuddling and intimate use.
Compared to the one silicone doll I have experience with, this TPE offers softer and more responsive body contours, making it better suited for close physical interactions. On the other hand and from a visual perspective, it provides less realism as detailed throughout the review. However, it should be noted that this model is an alien and the purpose of Dolls Castle does not seem to be realism, but rather fantasy.
The material demonstrates flexibility suitable for most poses, with expected TPE limitations under extended stretching. During elbow articulation, I can see the inner area bending smoothly, while the outer section shows slight visible strain when flexed beyond 90 degrees. In practical use, it suggests that prolonged extreme poses should be avoided.

Body, Quality and Craftmanship
One of the first things that stands out is that the skin tone is uniform across the entire body. This model relies solely on sculpted details to create depth and realism, rather than using subtle color variations and body painting.
While the reliefs of the collarbone and abdomen are more visible under natural lighting conditions, the lack of tonal transitions makes them appear a little flat. However, the contrasts are more pronounced on the back of the doll, which features a deeper back groove and moderately visible dimples of Venus.
As a result, the appeal should come from other aspects of the body.
The facial sculpt is one of the highlights of the model, as it showcases all the features that make this design unique.
It incorporates ridges on the cheekbones and nose that are neither too subtle nor overly pronounced.
They remain visible under both natural and artificial light, which helps preserve the face’s expression across different photography setups, and create a unique visual experience in intimate use.
The ears are often overlooked on fantasy dolls, yet they play an important role in defining a character and a visual identity.
This model adopts an elven-inspired design, with well-defined and realistic folds and hollows on both the outer and inner surfaces. The level of sculpted detail remains visible even at close range, helping reinforce the doll’s fantasy aesthetic.
Finally, traditional hair has been replaced with a collection of eight thick tentacle-like forms.
Being molded directly into the head, they feel solid and robust, with no sense of looseness or fragility.
During testing, I was able to stretch them by 15 cm (6 in) without observing any visible deformation or sensing excessive strain in the material.
This ultimately results in an unconventional face and character whose unique features have been refined.
While the overall impression of the head remains highly positive, closer inspection reveals that the eye area does not entirely match the level of refinement observed on its contours.
The eye makeup remains restrained, although somewhat artificial in appearance. While it is cleanly applied with no noticeable asymmetry between the left and right eyes, the dark eyeshadow has a distinctly painted quality. Still, the eyebrows incorporate thin hair-like strokes, giving them a more natural texture. Nevertheless, the color selection and gradient prove to be an appropriate choice given the surrounding red skin tone, enhancing other aspects of the eye area.
The paintwork on the iris aims to be realistic, with a controlled red to green gradient. From the pupil outward, thin red lines tend to recreate the tissues of a real eye and echo the surrounding skin tone. At the same time, a slight paint grain becomes visible from around 30 cm (12 in) away and closer, resembling the minor flaws of a printed texture. In everyday use, the result is a lifelike gaze that enhances immersion both during use and photography.
The eyes are framed by strip lashes that are slightly thick and exhibit a notable plastic appearance. They also tend to separate a little from the eyelid at the inner corner, occasionally drifting over the eye by around 2 mm and requiring repositioning. In contrast, the eyeballs remain firmly in place within the eye sockets throughout handling, helping maintain a stable gaze.
Finally, it is worth noting that attention has also been given to the nose, lips and chin. Following the natural curves of a realistic face, they allow the head sculpt to retain its convincing appearance from every angle.
While the head may create the first impression, the body ultimately shapes the overall experience.
The breasts are particularly well executed, with a natural shape that fits the doll’s morphology and emphasizes the tactile experience.
They differ from the website’s photos as they are actually less sagging and more rounded. The manufacturer later confirmed that this model features hollow breasts rather than the default gel-filled option that appears on the website. This distinction is relevant as it influences both weight and sensation. When I wrap my hand around the breast and apply pressure, I can feel all my fingers sink in without significant resistance. The material also flows naturally around them. Using the palm of the hand, the breast compresses just as smoothly while retaining a moderate level of support.
Compared to my second TPE doll, which has gel-filled breasts, the hollow version lacks density and weight that contribute to a realistic feel. On the other hand, it compresses and adapts more readily under finger pressure. In practice, the breasts combine realistic proportions with a tactile response softer than reality, resulting in a compelling appearance for photography and a pleasurable feel when handled.
Nevertheless, the nipples are minimally defined. Even though they come out by roughly 2 to 3 millimeters, the softness of the material makes them difficult to distinguish either by touch or visually from a side angle.
The rear deserves a special mention for its well-executed pear-shaped sculpt.
The volume distribution and proportions have been carefully considered, resulting in a natural-looking silhouette that translates exceptionally well in photography.
From an intimate use perspective, the shape adapts gracefully to the partner’s body contours in back-facing positions, further enhancing comfort.
Featuring slightly greater density than the breasts, it offers a similar yet firmer response to finger pressure. This subtle difference creates a tactile experience that is more authentic during use.
Finally, the cleft between them has enough depth to avoid the flat and visible structure frequently observed on models within the same price range, concluding a fairly convincing visual result.
The same level of attention has been devoted to the labial detailing.
The anatomical structure has been carefully reproduced.
Although the color is uniform, the contours are well defined and achieve a believable, realistic aesthetic.
While much of the attention is drawn to the carefully crafted curves and feminine features, the arms and legs also deserve attention when assessing a full-sized model.
Compared to other areas of the body, less emphasis appears to have been placed on the upper limbs.
Although the sculpting introduces a subtle volume that helps define the muscles and elbow, the arms remain notably flat.
The biceps are barely noticeable, even under good lighting conditions, consequently removing realism when the arms are exposed in photography.
This contrasted level of refinement also appears in the hand design.
Special attention has been given to the palms. A side-by-side comparison with my own hand highlights the detailing work, reproducing many of its crease patterns. Which contributes to the immersion during use. By comparison, the rear detailing consists of a slight volume on the main knuckles and subtle creases on both sides of the joints.
Hence, despite their clean appearance from a distance, minor imperfections on fingernails become visible upon closer inspection, including plastic flaws and printing lines on the white sections.
For instance, the legs display a more sophisticated shape.
Consistent with the rear design, the thighs prove to be slightly fuller than those depicted on the website’s photos, giving the lower leg a more natural volume.
Although the knees remain moderately flat, the proportions are well-balanced.
In practice, those generous and naturally shaped legs benefit from short outfits, allowing for greater variety in photographic composition.
Upon close inspection, lines on the outer forearms, inner thighs and between each finger are visible to some extent. Yet their appearance is comparable to that of other TPE dolls I have experience with.
Taken as a whole, Doll’s Castle demonstrates an attention to detail on this model, with a focus on fantasy and entertainment rather than aiming for the highest level of refinement.
Poses and articulation
Beyond its visual appearance, the doll’s weight and internal skeleton influence day-to-day use. Weight is often overlooked, yet it plays a significant role in the overall experience. At 43 kg (95 lbs), the doll’s weight brings both advantages and limitations, whether for private leisure or photography sessions.
While the advantages are further discussed in the following parts of this review, the limitations are related to posing and articulation.
Also, it is important to keep in mind that these observations come after roughly six months of moderate weekly usage.
The internal skeleton provides a satisfying level of resistance, allowing all common poses to be achieved and maintained to some extent. It remains homogeneous when articulated, which contributes to predictable handling. However, some areas have shown signs of wear over time. While the elbow joints have lost around half of their original resistance and still maintain any position reliably, the waist articulation requires frequent repositioning. It is particularly noticeable in on-all-fours poses, where the lower back tends to fall moderately. This is due to the joint bearing a greater portion of the doll’s weight.
Nevertheless, it is common to request tighter joints from a manufacturer, especially on heavy models. This is what I did with my second doll. At around 30 kg (66 lbs), its joints does not show any noticeable sign of wear after nearly four months under similar conditions.
Finally, the screw-on head system provides stability. However, it is not convenient for frequent removal, as the tentacle-like hairs and neck create friction that should be carefully handled during the screwing process. As a result, storing the doll in a standing position is preferable to using a neck hook.
Internal Channels
The vaginal opening reflects the same level of refinement as its external appearance. From a visual standpoint, it features a moderate bump at the entrance, followed by volume variations aiming to reproduce the internal tissues. The material is the same as the rest of the body and adapts as smoothly. Compared to the one silicone doll I have experience with, this TPE model exhibits neither disturbing resistance nor hard pressure points. This ultimately translates into a fully embracing and enveloping sensation throughout the entire length of the vaginal opening, offering a fairly realistic feel.
While based on similar internal design, the anal opening presents a significantly narrower entrance when spreading the doll’s legs. This results in a noticeably more compressing yet comfortable experience due to the material’s flexibility.
Turning to the final point, the hole placement feels natural. Front and rear poses offer easy access to internal channels, allowing for more variations during use.
Despite the attention given to the internal channels in the lower part of the body, the mouth opening seems less inviting. This model does not benefit from a real mouth structure that is more commonly found on higher-end dolls. Because the mouth remains mostly closed, air circulation is limited. As a result, the usual and barely noticeable TPE odor gradually accumulates inside the oral cavity over time. This discourages the practical use of the mouth opening despite meticulous and regular cleaning.
Size and Weight
At 160 cm (62 in) and 43 kg (95 lbs), this model enters the full-sized and heavy doll category. While its weight adds limitations to posing and articulation, it enhances the user experience to some extent. In comparison to my second TPE doll, which is at 120 cm (47 in) and 30 kg (66 lbs), the heavier body provides more stability and a noticeably more natural response to dynamic movements. This further enhances the immersion during use.
Nevertheless, the additional weight requires more careful handling to protect the doll and avoid unnecessary physical strain. Hence, changing poses is more time-consuming and could offset the benefit depending on the user’s preferences.
Although it contributes to the added weight, the full-sized body provides a wider surface for cuddling. This adds options for stimulation and contributes to a more realistic experience.
Finally, size S clothing was the most suitable choice during testing, avoiding both pressure marks and staining.
Maintenance and Durability
Throughout the last six months, I used the aloe vera Fess’net wet wipes for regular cleaning. Then I carefully dried it with a soft microfiber cloth and left the doll air dry in a well ventilated room for at least 20 minutes. This maintenance routine was completed approximately 2 to 4 times a week. Under these conditions, I observed no discoloration, deformation or tearing of the material on both the outer and inner parts of the internal channels.
It is worth noting that the material’s flexibility makes cleaning the internal channels relatively straightforward with one to two fingers.
The hands may be the main area of improvement on this model. While two fingernails fell off and four others are now showing moderate signs of detachment, the internal skeleton began to protrude through three fingers. I have also observed the same phenomenon in another example of this model. Therefore, special attention should be given to the fingers during posing.
The elbows show minor signs of tearing caused by regular handling and frequent pose changes. Comparable wear is also present on the soles of the feet, although neither has a significant visual impact on the doll’s appearance.
In contrast, the original makeup on the lips now shows distinct surface cracking, while the paint around the eyes remains intact.
Nevertheless, the facial sculpt and other body contours appear to have preserved their level of refinement, including the tentacle-like hairs, ears, nose, breasts, stomach, arms excluding elbows, back, rear, thighs, knees and lower legs.
Conclusion
In the end, this model reflects Dolls Castle’s focus on fantasy and user experience.
The doll combines distinctive and refined facial features, well-executed and realistic body contours, and a carefully crafted material designed to provide a high level of comfort during intimate use. Together, these elements create a captivating experience during private moments, while offering a unique and compelling character to photographers and collectors.
Despite the clear attention to detail in the body’s shape, this model does not strive for the highest level of visual realism. Whether the uniform skin tone and lack of makeup detailing are perceived as drawbacks will ultimately depend on the user’s personal preferences.
